DITO SIM registration can be completed in any of 4 easy ways: via the DITO App, the official customer care contact number, the web portal link, or the SMS link. In each process, you will need to fill out a form by providing details from your legal documents. Follow the instructions below to avoid any mistakes.
Whether you’re using an Android smartphone, iPhone, or keypad phone, you must register your DITO SIM before the deadline to avoid deactivation. DITO Telecom complies with the SIM Registration Act, Republic Act No. 11934, to combat online scams, crimes, theft, and other illegal activities similar to the TM SIM.
DITO SIM Registration through DITO App
First, ensure that you have downloaded the latest version of the DITO App on your Android from the Play Store or on your iPhone from the App Store.
- After successfully downloading and installing the DITO App, log in to the app.
- In the Home menu, you will find two options to access the SIM registration process: either click on the “SIM Registration” menu or the “Register your SIM Card” banner.
- On the next page, you will see various registration types such as Filipino, Filipino Dependent/Minor, Foreign National Tourist, Foreign National with Visa, and Business Entity/Organization.
- Select the registration type that best suits your situation.
- Enter the DITO number you want to register.
- Click on the “Verify” button to receive an OTP.
- You will receive a 6-digit OTP via SMS on your number.
- If you don’t receive the OTP, click the “Resend” button.
- Enter the one-time password (OTP) and click on the “Submit” button.
- In the next step, click on “Camera” to take a photo of your UMID issued by the Philippine government. Please ensure that all details on the ID card are readable, clear, and valid.
- Then, click on “Camera” again to take a live selfie to verify your identity. The picture must be clear, with no shadows on your face or anything that could make the image blurry.
- Fill in the form by providing your details as per your legal documents, including first name, last name, gender, birth date, address, postal code, and more.
- After completing the form, review it carefully to avoid any mistakes.
- Click the “Proceed” button after confirming the form.
- In the last section, if you suspect any errors, click the “Change” button to make corrections.
- Otherwise, check the two boxes to confirm that the provided information is correct and to agree to the terms and conditions of DITO Telecom.
- Click the “Register” button to complete the process.
- Congratulations, you have successfully registered your DITO SIM.
DITO SIM Registration Customer Care Contact

DITO SIM Registration Link Process
DITO Telecom does not offer an online PC method for SIM registration, and it is different from Smart SIM registration and SUN Registration. However, if you open the link, it will directly take you to the DITO App. Follow the step-by-step guidelines below to complete the registration through the web portal link.

Download and install the DITO App on your phone.

Open the app and fill out the form according to documents.
Submit form, copy the reference code.
Register DITO SIM via SMS Link
Once you purchase your new DITO SIM from any retailer, each individual will receive a unique SMS link to process the SIM registration. Follow these guidelines to avoid any errors.
Note: You can find your login credentials and password in the SMS.
DITO SIM Registration Methods for Keypad Phones
If you are using a Keypad Phone, you can register your DITO SIM by following the two methods below:
Method 1: Borrow a Smartphone from a Friend or Family Member
- Borrow a smartphone from a friend or family member to complete your SIM registration.
- Insert your newly purchased SIM into the borrowed smartphone.
- Open the link you received in the SMS from DITO Telecom for SIM registration.
- The link will directly open the DITO App.
- Ensure the DITO App is installed; if not, download and install it.
- Open the app, fill out the form using your legal documents, upload a photo of your ID, and capture a selfie for verification.
- Congratulations! Your SIM is now registered.
- Remove the SIM from the smartphone and insert it into your keypad phone.
Method 2: Dialing DITO Customer Care
- Dial 185 from the DITO number you want to register.
- Inform the agent that you are using a keypad phone, and they will assist you with the SIM registration process.
Personal Details and ID Card Requirements
The following personal details and ID Card are required for the SIM registration process, and all of them must be accurate according to the legal documents issued by the Philippine government.
