All new and old TM SIM users need to register their TM SIM. It’s mandatory because of the SIM Registration Act (SIM Card Law). TM SIM registration can be done online through the official registration link.

After clicking on the “Register TM SIM” button, you can either accept or reject cookies.
On the first page, you will be asked to provide the mobile number you want to register.

Once you enter your mobile number, you will receive an OTP on your mobile.
Enter the OTP within 5 minutes; otherwise, reprocess to generate a new OTP.

On the next page, start by filling in the ‘About You’ section with all relevant information, including your first name, last name, location, and other details.
Now Verify Your Identity and upload your legal ID authenticated by the Philippine government just like TNT Sim Registration.
Take a clear photo and upload it for further verification.
After completing the form, double check your information like spelling mistakes.
Submit the form and wait for a message from company.

Congratulations, you have successfully registered your TM SIM card.

TM Registration Through GlobeOne App

Make sure you have downloaded the GlobeOne App from the Play Store if you are an Android user or the App Store for iPhone users.

Open the GlobeOne app on your mobile phone. On the first screen, you will see the “Register your SIM” menu in the app.
Launch the SIM Registration TM process by clicking on this menu. Enter the mobile number of the SIM that you want to register to receive the OTP code.
Click on the “Register SIM” button. The next screen will prompt you to accept cookies and privacy with TM Telecom.

Click the “Accept” button to proceed. After that, enter the OTP Code within 5 minutes, otherwise regenerate the OTP by starting the process again.

Click the “Let’s Start” button to fill out the form. As you start filling out the form, ensure you have the necessary legal documents available as per the eligible documents and ID lists provided below.
You must fill out the “About You” page with your first name, middle name, last name, birthdate, nationality, and location, according to the legal documents and ID type.
After filling it out, carefully double-check the provided information and click on the “Next” button.

Now verify your identity by selecting the ID type and entering the ID Number. Then click “Next” to proceed further.

Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions.
Your registration process is now ready for completion. Click the “Submit” button to successfully submit the form.

Check SIM Registration Status Online

Go to the SIM Registration Link provided above by clicking the ‘Register TM SIM’ button.
Enter your TM SIM mobile number that you have already processed for registration.
Verify your mobile number by entering the OTP in the next step.
After successful verification, the registration status will be displayed on the screen, such as ‘Whoops! Your SIM has already been registered.’

TM SIM Registration Failure Solution

To avoid SIM registration failure, follow these guidelines carefully:

Ensure that the information you provide is legal and authentic according to the documents issued by the Philippine government.
Make sure your selfie is no larger than 2MB. Images captured directly can exceed this size. You can resize the image using an online tool or by taking a screenshot of the original photo.
Ensure that your photo is clear and valid.

The Philippine government implemented a SIM card law called the SIM Registration Act, officially designated as Republic Act No. 11934, which mandates the registration of all SIM cards, including TM, Globe, Dito, Smart, TNT, GOMO, and SUN SIM cards, for both prepaid and postpaid users. Failure to register will result in the deactivation of the SIM cards. The law was published on September 13, 2022, and signed on October 10, 2022, to combat cybercriminal activities in the Philippines.

The deadline for SIM registration was July 25, 2023, for users who purchased their SIM cards before December 27, 2022. However, new subscribers who recently purchased their SIM cards must complete the registration process as soon as possible in 2024.

The ZIP code is the postal code of your city that specifies your location. You can find it on Google by searching for the ZIP code along with your city name. Google will provide the correct code based on your address. In the form section, this information is required, so it is mandatory to fill it out.

The SIM registration process for minors must be completed under the name of the minor’s legal parent or guardian. Therefore, parental or guardian consent is mandatory.

If you have recently bought a new TM SIM, you can still register it today. However, if you have an older SIM and missed the registration deadline of December 22, 2022, you will not be able to register your SIM.

Insert your inactive SIM into your mobile phone. Go to the registration link provided above, enter your mobile number and OTP, fill out the form, and submit it. Your SIM will be activated again.

Minors without a legal Philippine ID must register their SIM under the name of a parent or guardian.

Open the Messages app, type “Upgrade,” and send it to 8080. Your SIM will be upgraded to LTE.
